another thing is to create a Filter "Swoosh". where you drop a lowpass filter, take it down to lik 340hz and back up in the course of one bar. it sounds pretty cool as well!

sometimes changing the percussions or creating unique drum fills will be just as effective as the revers symbol/ white noise sweeps.

can also try a huge reverb kick to announce the breakdown.

My main problem is in how to make it all transition I can't use reverse cymbal whooshes everytime. What're some alternatives?

I enjoyed this, I like the way it built up and started to sound angrier towards the first breakdown.

There seems to be some kind of fuzz noise in the low rumbling bass (that comes in at about 1:30) that is making the whole track sound fuzzy when it is playing.

I wasn't sure about the hoover sounds at first as they sound so retro to me. But they were fine on a second listen.

I really like the all the higher frequency synth stuff.

I can't really suggest anything direct as to where to go with this.
I would try listening to a variety of different music just to inspire your subconscious.
