RAM requirements

RAM requirements

Currently I have a MacBook with 2 gb ram, I'm believeing of upgrading because the unit overflows a lot in logic. Is 4 gb ram satisfactory for 50 track songs, or is 6-8 gb ram generally needed.

Thanks for any help guys, i just want to make sure so when I upgrade I get the needed amount of memory so I dont run into any more problems/overflows.

In audio applications, the cpu will always be most important. if you can, get the i7

Okay thanks, so would speed be more important, like the 2.3ghz i5 pro vs the 2.7 ghz i7 pro?
