New producer I need feedback on my first track!

Ok so this is basically the first track I've ever completed in logic. I did this a few months ago and just let it sit around. Also I did with some bose computer speakers but have since upgraded to the krk rokit 5 so now I'm definitely hearing things a little differently. Fire away!

That can be taken care of in the mix down, no need to start layering stuff as it just makes it more complicated to fix in the long run

Alright well thanks for all the feedback I will take another listen and keep in mind all the advice you guys have given me. I've spent a lot of time working on djing lately so I haven't been able to focus on producing as much but now I am really seeing the need to develop my ear for mixing and sound design as well.

I wouldn't equate it sound design, you're just trying to make all the sounds fit together is all

well I believe it's a great first shot!!!

I believe mixing.. is sorta what it all comes down to.. I believe of mixing as very close to sound design in a lot of ways.. and how you craft your sound.. so I guess really that's like the next thing to focus on..

Also try modulating some of the synths subtly to give them some organic movement so they don't sound so stale. Nothing drastic but just enough to make it come to life.

Thanks for the feedback man the more I listen to it and compare it to quality songs the easier it is to tell that the mixing is no where near a professional. I definitely need to do some studying and watch more tutorials on mixing.

For what it is, I dig it a lot. Only thing I don't like is the lack of depth in the mix, everything is upfront but the song writing is spot on.
