well

FL studio 8

so, I set the arpeggiator on ona a channel at a pattern.
start the song,
but the arpeggiator keeps going on forever !!
how do I define when I want that channel/pattern with the appergiator on to stop playing?

or a fade in/out if possible. or do I need to post production on another soft?

thanks.

You need to use the piano roll to tell FL when you want the arpeggiator to start and when to stop. Otherwise, it just knows when to start.

Right-click on the arpeggiated instrument and click "Send to Piano Roll."

Hope that helps.

Are you putting notes in the piano roll, or are you just putting them on that... uh... grid-thing FL has?

(By grid-thing I mean this)

Because if you're NOT using the piano roll, then yes the arpeggiator will continue forever.

Adjust the GAT knob. That is what controls how / long the arp runs for

You need to adjust the length of your pattern then, change the speed of the arpeggiator, the number of steps, etc.

it works, but at the end of the "loop" it don't fit with the beginning of the next.
