How does one get studio acapellas and instrumentals?

I've tried software to strip vocals, but the quality sucks... No way I'd gig with those.

you can make a "studio" acapella. The fact that it is studio means that that is the official acapella recorded in the studio. Google is your friend. Also a lot of record pools have acapellas that you cant find elsewhere (without hours of searching)

search google. more studio acapellas are leaked than you probably realise. just google "song name artist acapella". and see what turns up. sometimes it'll be a decent DIY job, sometimes it'll be the studio acapella
