did i do a good job with buying this for my ableton live and music production, or should i resell it and get something else?

The Axiom is a keyboard that also has i believe 8 pads on it ( correct me if im wrong) where-as the Trigger Finger is a "Mpc "style midi controller, its easier to come up with basslines and basically anything other than drums with a keyboard in my opinion.
Although i do have friends that build tracks with just Mpd's, i believe the workflow and the final outcome of melodies are easier to produce on a keyboard, all depends on how well you become friends with your DAW.

Keyboards are way faster for banging out melodies than penciling them in by hand. There are enough keys there to get some basic melodies down.

I fucking love my trigger finger. Good buy Enjoy it

I'd be looking for a keyboard for production though. Kind of critical imo for bashing out melodies. Maybe get yourself an Axiom 25 to compliment it.
