Vocal Shifting
Vocal Shifting Posted on: 13.11.2011 by Han Srubar I was wondering if anyone knew how to shift the tone of a vocal sample, giving it a higher or lower pitch in frequency. Here are a couple of examples:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAUXg3IeZ_c http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8Ksv7CQxpc I run ableton live. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks guys. | |

Han Srubar 13.11.2011 | There is something definitely odd about the transpose knob. i cant quite pin point it but if i had to i'd say that it makes the sample sound waxy, it seems as it is not meant to shift keys of the song but for maybe another reason that i have not figured out yet. |

Asuncion Osorto 13.11.2011 | Open up the Envelope by clicking the e in the bottom left corner and click transpose within that menu and then just adjust how u like. |
Han Srubar 13.11.2011 | I notice the effects and how he fits the vocals in rhythmically. However, I'm shooting to imitate one of the examples i provided earlier. I want to shift or manipulate the tone or key of the vocals in which i am working with. |
Charline Dunch 13.11.2011 | http://www.soundstosample.com/blog/h...ty-dutch-leads check the part where they put a vocal ontop. its all about the pitch automation! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYG50...layer_embedded |
