Production Technique... Creating Minimal Dubstep Bass Sounds?
Posted on: 29.12.2011 by Steve Gurgul
Can anyone point me towards some tutorials to create minimal dubstep bass lines? All the tutorials I've found are "Make Screaming Skrillex Sounds!"

Here's some examples of what I'm going for...

I have Massive, Albino, Predator, Reason 5.... a bunch of different VST Options but the little bit that I've heard is that this is more of a sample destruction technique...

Thanks in advance... I've been looking all day... apparently in the wrong spots.

Much the same way any wobble is made, two or three detuned oscillators, low pass filter with the resonance turned up. Modulate the cut-off on the LPF with a tempo synced LFO, try different LFO shapes as well.
