just wondering if anyone has tried it yet, and has any thoughts on the subject.
keep getting tempted to spend money on some hardware synths, but frankly pretty happy with the VSTs i have sound quality wise but find programming a bit of a chore

That's what I kind of figured which is why I opened the thread back up after initially closing it. I wish I had an iPad.

meh, i was hoping for a more narrow discussion on using it for synths. the focus of the thread you linked to seems to be mapping to traktor or using mu for djing with ableton. not too interested in using it for djing, just need something budget friendly to keep me from emptying my bank account on a room full of synths...
