I recently was able to save up for a turntable setup, and so have been doing a bit more mixing than production lately. It's an interesting thing for me. Sometimes I just get inspired to work on some tracks, and others I just want to mix other people's stuff. I don't play out yet, so it's just for fun. But I'm trying to get better at mixing and putting production more on a backburner, at least until I feel comfortable with my technical skills. |
