New and Updated Tarekith Production Guides
Posted on: 22.02.2012 by Monserrate Rupnow
Just posted two brand new Production Guides, one on creating space and depth in your songs, and one on working with other musicians.

In addition, there's now much nicer looking PDF versions of all the guides, in addition to the regular html versions.

I believe cutting is fine as long as people hear a need for it and don't do it arbitrarily, and don't completely filter out the freqs they don't want as a matter of course. Often just reducing those freqs 3-4db can be enough and sound better.

I'll keep it in mind for the future, though with this:

It's hard for me to believe of what else I'd add. Start at the bottom of the list and work your way up. Even if you ignore all the math and just skim it, you'll learn tons.

Can't stress enough how many golden nuggets of wisdom I've found in your guides! Any chance you'll be doing a tips and tricks for learning synthesis? Probably one of the bigger obstacles to overcome as a newbie producer.
