Araceli Georgis 13.03.2012 | updated version now up http://soundcloud.com/funlife/funlife-work-all-evening |
Araceli Georgis 13.03.2012 | Thanks for the advice |
Monserrate Rupnow 13.03.2012 | Exactly! |
Araceli Georgis 13.03.2012 | Yep, I'm believeing a few extra / off beat claps or toms and maybe drop the 4th kick on the end of phrases to break up those sections |
Monserrate Rupnow 13.03.2012 | I don't believe you need to do anything crazy for fills, just a few things now and then to give it a bit more variation, break up the main sections a tiny bit. |
Araceli Georgis 13.03.2012 | Thanks Tarekith, always valuable to know how things sound in a different environment. I did actually reduce the kick once the synth comes in because I thought it was too bottom heavy, will bring it up a touch and the synth down. Fills are something I might look at, was believeing though I might keep it reasonably stripped down |
Monserrate Rupnow 13.03.2012 | I thought the 303 line and that synth part that comes in around 2:00 was a touch loud compared to the drums, especially the kick. Could use a few fills here and there to keep it from sounding so loopy too, but thats more personal opinion I guess. |
