Anyone know how to make/find these popular electronic sounds??

So I hear these sounds everywhere these days in EDM music especially the popular songs. The first sound is in the song called toulouse by Nicky Remero (also in others but this is a good example) and it starts around 2:15. Its a faint sound defiantly does not stand out to the regular listener but its a tension rising sound and kind of sounds like someone is blowing into a wood pipe. Nicky has a video on how he made toulouse but the Dutchman deliberately skips how he makes this sound. Bastard. Here is the link to the tune , Any ideas?

The second sound is also a tension riser and its in this tune called Feel by third party and is also a very popular sound I hear all the time, it kind of sounds like a laser gun being shot or something. Sorry for the terrible descriptions :P but it starts 45 seconds into the track and this one is more apparent than the first sound I mention above. I know these sounds are probably a very small part of making a track but it is really the small things that makes the difference between an amateur and professional sounding tune, at least that's my opinion. Any Ideas. Heres the link

At least, that's what the part of me that doesn't hate humanity wants to believe about a lot of them.

Sadly, that's often the case. Though it can't be the case all the time.

A Fender Rhodes can't make that many sounds on its own. It's still awesome.

I mean, it worked for them, right? It should work for me as well.
I guess it could get you to stardom for a little bit, but if your not making your own thoughts and feelings into music then what do you achieve?

Any riser in the middle of a song can have the same effect. Just play around with sounds hombre

Nice attempt, i would work on the EQ to make it suit your track.

What freq range does Nicky's sit in?

WATCH THE VIDEO, he talks about hearing it in another track and trying for WEEKS, yes WEEKS to get the sound. A PRO took WEEKS to do it... Read this line a few times.

FFS dude, we tried, we gave suggestions on how to make it yourself even. If you're not appreciating any of that then just start digging

Sorry man I don't exactly know which pack, I can assume you may be able to find it in Vengeance Fx 1 or Fx 2 pack, but that's me just guessing.

You are all wrong >.< Watch the video he did with Future Music (buy the magazine).

He talks about it fully, its basically a synth with white noise with a riser VST over the top (CHeck endless phaser by oli larkin). It uses a barber pole effect (always rising) to get the sound.

No one is going to release this sound, all the big boys are using it atm (nicky romero/axwell/SHM/Tommy trash) and are keeping it pretty secret...

Actually i just checked, the preset is closed but not quiet the same....so again I'm sure you can find the lazer sound in vengeance sample packs.

I am pretty sure for the first one you can find a similar sound in vengeance sample packs. For the second one, Sylenth1, Factory Bank, tab number three, the preset is called DR Laser.

Hope that helps!

First one could be some simple reverb that he's pitchbending, and the second one is just a simple synth hit that's rising, could also be pitch bend or just him playing it up the keyboard.

This is where I would start at least
