ableton based home studio layout help PLEASE ! ! ! Posted on: 27.06.2012 by Stefania Herb guys im new to ableton but been djin with serato since v1.1... im now looking to get back into production after 7 years away from it... i used to use acid v4.0 (which i still have) but im now learning ableton.... can any one give me an idea of a wiring layout as far as signal and usb when using the following 2 numark ttx, rane ttm57sl, audio interface, laptop for serato/ableton (the bridge), alesis m1 520 monitors. I was also believeing of installing ableton on my desktop pc for just straight up production work. my real question lies with my decks at the minute, with the ttm57sl running into the audio interface, and from that out to the monitors, if i want to strictly jam out on my decks, will i have to re run my cables to the monitors? or can i just run thru the interface? a nice lil map layin things out so i can understand better would be a massive help. | |
