Celine Surico 07.07.2012 | Why is it so interesting to copycat others? Make your own styles to get noticed. |

Georgina Schatzman 06.07.2012 | Actually, now that I believe about it, this should get you started in the right direction http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/ |

Tera Baragan 05.07.2012 | Thanks guys. I have no idea what Im doing when it comes to making genres. Is there likea handbook or something that explains what basic characteristics for them. |
Romelia Stankard 04.07.2012 | What other people said plus those drums sound of place. If you are going for electro house those don't sound like electro house drums- kind of breakbeat-ish and the x0x drum samples seem kind of out of place. If you listen electro house style percussion is a lot more minimal 4 on the floor but it is deliberate. I don't listen to too much electro house anymore but if you want to hear drums programmed right and solid groove: |
Maricruz Mouw 04.07.2012 | ok from the begining intro is very very very very very flat sounding...when making an intro you have to have it sound interesting...if your going to do something simple like this then the sounds have to WOW people :46 your focus is the synths but for something sounding like this the drums need to be the focus...your drums arnt coming through very well and they seem flat as well throughout the entire thing is the same sounds...theres no evolution....electro is like a mountain with the begining and first breakdown leading up to the peak of the drop and it keeps going up and up until you start going towards the end where you go back down....things need to evolve and stay interesting |
Tera Baragan 03.07.2012 | All I can say Is I shouldn't have posted it cause its not done haha. Heres where im at tho. http://soundcloud.com/cam-day/electro |
Celine Surico 03.07.2012 | The same bass sound over and over? |
Georgina Schatzman 03.07.2012 | Sorry mate, this is nothing but noise to me. Not much of a groove, and just way to dry. Some parts would be cool for a break down per se, but the track as a whole needs a lot of help. Don't be afraid to just let the groove do it's thing, no need to have synth stabs all over the place firing off. |
Tera Baragan 03.07.2012 | http://soundcloud.com/cam-day/electro Here we go. Feedback on this please |
Alyse Plantenga 03.07.2012 | You have the same bass sound throughout the whole track. mix it up so that when there is a chorus its a different bass sound than in the verses and intro etc. use reverb so things sound like the are distant and some are closer. there is a tonne of things but that is what first comes to min. |
