Need Mastering (Maybe Mixdown?) help Posted on: 14.07.2012 by Orpha Battel I have a hard progressive house track that I'm sending out, but I feel like it's missing "something". I can't pinpoint it. It might just be a shitty track lol. Basically, this is an already mastered track. | Orpha Battel 14.07.2012 | Hey man, thanks for the feedback. That "sound" (at 0.48) had been a pain in my ass for sometime. I'll try some things with it and see what I get. By any chance, did you like the alternate synth at 2.30. I've been just believeing about dropping it. I thought I liked it, but I believe it's getting in the way. |
| Ervin Calvery 14.07.2012 | Straight up - I have no love for the sound that comes in at 0.48. I also believe that that melody could be made more interesting. I kind of like the arpeggios, beginning at 1:32. For real - I believe there's about 45 seconds of good stuff in there! |
