You can use Rekordbox in the meantime if you need direct access to your computer's library.

Don't just assume because the MK1 does, that the MK2 instantly will.
Sorry for my impatience. :s

It'll probably take a while like the 2000 Nexus.

Hi, so I bought a 900 NEXUS, hoping for some HID goodness with Traktor, but that was a quick NO-GO since there is no such support.
There is a midi option but you have to map it yourself since there is no available Traktor mapping. I really thought it would've had HID, some articles on the net even said so. You guys believe it wil be added in a firmware update?

No. It can't. It needs to be plugged into a laptop running software, both of which also cost money

Have you checked whether the Call buttons can be used during playback on the 900NXS?
But you would need to buy a laptop and software to use the midi functionality and then that renders them $2600 midi controllers.

Considering that about 90% of the internet doesn't understand how memory cues work, I don't believe you're asking the right question. They don't hot start, but they most likely load within a second or two like they did on the 900 mk1.

You can have multiple cue points set on a track and then jump between instantly by pressing its corresponding button. So you could mixing out of track with a new track that's looped then jump to the end of the intro whenever you want, or you can jump around and make sort of mashups. Something a $200 midi controller can do.

My thoughts exactly. I'm going to stick with my 850's. Not impressed by the 900 Nexus at all. And actually pretty upset that they removed the way the 900 standards screen is tilted up wards. The only upgrade i'd make is from my 850 to 2000's if I had extra cash with nothing else I want to buy. Otherwise to just practice on and to be ready to play on any CDJ's at any club i'm completely content with my 850's.

Liking the look of these. I had a 2000 nexus for a while and loved it. Do you believe they may do an 850 Nexus ?

I really want these, I just believe there's a market for a CDJ style midi controller from Native Instruments, which maybe yell tie in for a new version of Traktor 3, it seems even more likely after Maschine studio.

Still considerably less than 2 cdj 900 nexus's.

I love my 900s but would happily trade up to these, closing the gap to the 2000NXS but without going the whole hog.

That said if I could get a pair of 2000NXS for reasonable money (in Pioneer terms!) instead I probably would.

They look like an even better pair for Traktor than the 2000s, possibly a better layout ?
