Sample Issue
Sample Issue Posted on: 30.08.2012 by Latina Samon I've downloaded loads of free samples, but when I try to use them, instead of giving the little building blocks to make a beat or whatever, all I get is a waveform at the bottom. Is there a way to get the format that comes up when using the standard samples? | |

Latina Samon 05.09.2012 | Putting them into Impulse seems to have done the trick. Working my way through that video, kinda following it as I go along. Will watch that second one after. Thanks fellas |
Latina Samon 31.08.2012 | Sweet will give that a look over tomorrow. I've been searching for the wrong things on Youtube by the looks of it! Cheers guys |

Drag a loop into a slot in the session grid, then right click on the clip in the slot, and select "Slice to new midi track". That will give you a drum rack on a new midi track, loaded with each hit from the loop. Play away, or program your beats with the pencil. |
Celine Surico 30.08.2012 | Yes sounds like you don't understand how Ableton works, or don't have loop enabled, or have the clip warped or something similar. |
Georgina Schatzman 30.08.2012 | I have no idea what you're asking |
Nedra Fresneda 30.08.2012 | Drag the clip into a sampler/simpler pad or into arrangement view. |
