I have been trying to decide which program to use without being a musical or computer expert and without spending a fortune. But I'm not sure which direction to go. I came across
http://mp3productionsoftwarereviews.com/
and these items seem good but no sure can someone with experience check it out and give me some advice.

There is no more/less powerful when it comes to DAWs, just different ways of working.

My suggestion is to watch as many tutorial videos as you can and go with the one that makes sense. My personal preference is for Maschine and Pro Tools, but I'm in the minority. And I've been recording more voice and guitar lately than doing anything with dance music. Yay fickle hobbies.

Ableton probably has the steepest learning curve, but can also be the most powerful. I recommend it, though I'm a big fan of Logic as well.

Simple tip bro. Go to all of the Major DAW websites and download a trial. Get a feel for which one you dig and go for gold. You will end up with something that you are comfortable with and you will stick with it.

Personally I prefer Ableton, although I haven't really ever had a proper go on FL.

Thanks, I will have a look at them. Which one do you prefer for ease of use?
