Bass Guitar Samples/VSTs
Posted on: 25.09.2012 by Jonell Freden
Hey guys,
I'd like to know where I can get bass guitar samples or VSTs which sound similar to these:

At around 2:06 it comes in:

...or like the guitar in the intro of animus vox by the glitch mob

I don't know how to describe it properly but I'm sure you know what I mean

Thanks in advance!

This isn't going to be what you want to hear, but have you thought about learning to play bass? What I'm hearing is insanely simple.

It's been a long time since I started playing guitar, so maybe I'm off on the timing

I don't have the audio interface at the moment, but yeah, this should be no problem

Spectrasonics Trillian is a very good bass guitar VST.

Native Instruments has some good libraries for Kontakt as well.

But like already mentioned, you can get a cheap guitar cheaper that these above mentioned sample libraries (that is you don't have Kontakt). If you do, then the Native Instruments ones are not bad.

If not, find someone with a guitar and record them.

The vst is too expensive, so I'll probably just purchase a cheaper guitar

I just have the Elements version which came with my Maschine and I didn't find anything similar
But also thanks!

You won't believe me, but I've really thought about this too

Yes, you're right, I also believe that it will be the easiest way to get that sound and additionally I'll learn something about music theory which I really have to do

The only problem right now is that I don't have money neither for a guitar nor for lessons as I'm still going to school and I just have a small job :P So I'll have to wait and save some money, but thanks for the tip!
