So besides having a program. Do I need any instruments to help my sounds like an electronic piano or something?
And if so, what do you recommend?

Thanks guys!

^I agree with Massive and Sylenth, will pretty much cover all you need for intermediate level production. If you want to get into really in depth stuff you can look at a whole range of other synths etc. If you're just starting out I wouldn't reccommend buying both of these straight away, head over to KRV Audio to find a bunch of free VST instruments you can use to get started. As for external hardware, I do all my production with just a computer and a mouse (and external screen + studio monitors) but no controllers

Depending on what type of music you will be making, the software synthesizers: Sylenth1 by LennarDigital and Massive by Native Instruments will be very very helpful.
