Lavera Lopezmendez 29.12.2012 | Well first, you should get to know your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) which is Ableton. Knowing the keyboard shortcuts, its effects' functions, arrangement and session view, and other Ableton features. This will make it easier to produce tracks of any kind. Also learn about song structure and music theory. They will also be vital components when making a song. Learn these thoroughly first. Also decide what style of dubstep you want to achieve. Look for artists that appeal to your tastes and see what their songs consists of: like the synths, drum pattern, song structure, etc. There are many videos on youtube that tell you how to make signature or simple "wobble" bass. Also, most dubstep songs are 140 beats per minute. But you can variate tempos. Study up what makes a song considered dubstep. Look for its elements. Have fun on this long adventure. Hope I was some help. |
