Hey guys, i am in love with this track and want to figure out how to make similar lead bass and that background lead

I've battled for a long time but nothing comes out. I always get it too bass-y and never as warm. I am using massive

same with the background lead. its so simple yet is catchy. stuff I have comes out annoying after 8 bars already

Thanks! What about that light background lead - any tips on that? I can tell it has long release. I tried playing with attack and glide but still dont get it...

It's a basic 303 sound, just play around with the envelope and resonance settings. To my ear it's a two part bass with a sub layer underneath providing the bass.
