Question on Chords
Posted on: 19.02.2013 by Benedict Vanhoose
Hi there,

With Chord Progressions, must they stay within the key you are using? Or is this a part you are "let" lose? If not how do just make a chords doing the semitone counting with the notes within the scale of the certain key your using?

Yeah to be honest Tarekith, I guess I don't pay enough attention to the credited authors of the blog posts because I always figured a few of them were from you.

@ Pad_04 I believe I just might. I don't want to do a straight up "here's theory, in it's boring, technical entirety"

I'm going to focus more on "Applied Music Theory"

I've got a bunch of tests/assignments/lab reports for school the next couple weeks, so it'll be a couple weeks.

BiggChev, why not summit the article to the blog? Will get a lot more exposure that way and you will earn some money in the process

Hey, if that article doesn't help let me PM with some questions. I was classical trained pianist so I've got some knowledge. I was actually believeing of writing up something like that article a couple evening s ago. Maybe I may still do, as a serial type post. But yeah, if you need any clarifications let me know.
