whatsup DJTT, I'm looking to pick up some new vst instruments and maybe some FX VSTs too.

Can anyone recommend any that they've liked that have recently been released?

Thanks guys =D

Yeah, I don't understand. Even when I load Razor into a project by itself, whenever I press a sound, it shows the CPU in the top of FL go into RED and the sound sounds all muddled and distorted. It could just be FL studio, but I'm not sure.

What DAW do you use?

I checked this out and made some KRAZY sounds in here, I really like this one.

@FinancialGrime...there's a teaser vid on the NI website itself. And Razor is known to be a CPU hog

is there a reason very few ppl mention Omnisphere in regards to dance music? this thing looks amazing, and i really wanna justify buying it, yet i virtually never hear anything about it

edit: 400th post, yay!

^^^ It's supposed to be really good. I d/l the demo but never really experimented with it, and now the demo is expired. Maybe I'll look into it again.

Has anyone tried Sugar Bytes Cyclop? That came out last year right? I've heard some good things about it, haven't played with it yet though.

Pretty sure you have to run through Reaktor.

And does anyone know if there is a standalone version of NI razor? I have to run mine through Reaktor first which takes up quite a lot of CPU

FX: Anything by Vahalla DSP, Room or vintageverb are pretty good.

Synths: U-he DIVA, Harmor by IL, Razor by NI, AALTO by madrona labs.
