On Stage & In The Studio | What Works

Hey guys!
My brother and I are looking for gear to use in the studio and at gigs.
We were looking at buying a Maschine and a Push.(we want to get into live performances)
I was wondering what would be the best option soundcard wise and what would be a good way to have our sessions MIDI synced(It would be between 2 PCs ). I know Maschine has MIDI I/O but Push doesn't.

There are plenty of decently priced smaller soundcards you can use, both USB and FW. Like this one: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Scarlett2i4/

Then you also have balanced outputs you can use for both in the studio & on stage.
I have the m-audio m-track wich has balanced output so I should be fine? The reason I ask is because I'm worried about the volume that this soundcard can provide. I want to be sure that I can get enough volume out of it.

Thanks en greetings from holland. Keep up the good work. ;-)

Just use Abletom Live on one pc, and both have your own dedicated tracks. No need for a soundcard - All mixing would be done internally
