| Luciano Hyppolite 01.09.2013 | in operator i would do it this way. chained algorithm (each consecutive oscilator modulates the first0 2 oscilators, both sine waves OSC A full sustain envelope. OSC B Coarse 2, around -12db volume. This is the trick, try a percussive kind of evelope on this oscilator short atack, decay at around 404ms, and very low level of sustain. modulating the volume on OSC B will give you a more metallic sound. then, youll have to polish, compress, etc. but that is the basic thing. in FM8 it will be fairly similar.
