| Pansy Dascoli 24.11.2013 | It's good. My only criticism is that everything is moving in parallel octaves which is very draining to listen to, much too predictable. Try searching youtube for videos on 4 part voicing and try and get an understanding for writing complementary action. I believe if you just add an instrument with a little low end that moves counter to the rest of the top synths it will really pull the track together. And filters, a few slightly long attacks on some LP filters could be pretty nice to build up those stabs that are syncopated. Either that or put a compressor on it and side chain to the kick with a long release time. It will swell the synths instead of being that in your face sound. |
