help : VCI-300 pitch big issue
Posted on: 18.07.2012 by Abbie Mabes
The pitch on my VCI-300's left deck has a problem :

The pitch is set to zero (and the green light is on) when the fader is actually set on +3 or something. Moreover, this changes randomly, sometimes i cannot even reach zero, because it's out of the pitch fader range.
The pitch shift buttons are not on.

And while i'm playing a track, the BPM is not stable, it changes very quickly, in big proportions.

So It makes it very difficult to make a mix !
I don't know if it comes from the VCI-300 or from the ITCH software, but i really need help to fix this !

thanks in advance

If it were a 1210 or cdj i'd say its had a drink but as its not i'd get a midi monitor app and see what signal its sending when moving it.

This should help you find what is at fault, hardware or software.
