Fader FX mode not actually changing anything o_O
Posted on: 23.12.2008 by Granville Cerullo
ok, my setup:

VCI-100, VCI-100SE overlays, latest config files from our living god Ean, Audio 8 DJ, traktor pro. Engaging the fader FX mode works, the colors of the buttons on the vci are changing; playing with the pitch, volume and job well are moving the effects knobs on screen, as if it was doing something but i'm not hearing any change in the sound of the tracks playing at all.

It's just making me feel like an idiot; is there something I missed? I'm sure it's something completly trivial, like something in the config options of Traktor Pro :|

Is there some sort of send/return option I must configure somewhere much like on a real normal mixer?

Real sorry if this sounds like an idiotic question.

You can also set hotkeys, or modify the .TSI with modifiers.

yeah I seen that. I was just hoping there was a way to engage it with the vestax and not the pc mouse

that did the trick ! Thanks a lot Ean!

no- its an easy mistake to make. you need to assign the decks to a FX bank. i wish there was a place on the VCI to do that.
