need help with 4 deck setup 2 channel mixer Posted on: 14.04.2009 by Ivan Gisclair hey guys im a new member 2 this community
any i need help . well here it goes" i currently have a pair of the -new denon dn-s 3700 - vestax 07 pro witch is a two channel battle scratch mixer i really love the whole 4 deck set up, and was looking at the vci 100 to control the other 2 decks via midi. my questions are: 1) is using traktor scratch with the 3700's on cd time code(on 2 decks) and vci-100 on the other 2 decks via midi, the best way to set it up? or is midi the best way for both the 3700's and vsi-100? the only down side to midi i can see right now is the platters not being supported yet. 2) with the traktor sound card will i be able to use the above set up with my a two channel mixer? i dont know how it all connects , my 07 pro has two channels and a session in (input) what i dont know is if the vci-100 coming out of the audio 8 s.c. will need one channel or two. if one is needed then i can probably hook it up in the session in input. can anyone help me , this can really save me time and money.[/ | |
