Vci100 Not Turning On After 1.3 Firmware Upgrade
Vci100 Not Turning On After 1.3 Firmware Upgrade Posted on: 25.05.2009 by Darrel Prox I'm having a really hard time with my vci100 ,I went through the proper procedures installing firmware 1.3, I can't get my vci to turn on , so one thing i did notice on the last step on the loading page before hiting the program flash button ,on the box below it says in red( flash development toolkit and flash programming components are provided without support).during loading the firmware i get a message (the file is not an s record loading as new data.so i hit ok TWICE and the installation gets complete,i hit disconnect I turn the power off on my vci I disconnect the plate ,connect back the harness Iwait a few minutes ,I turn my vci back on and get nothing. I tried holding down the top loop button and then turning the vci on and all i get is the red lights on my two jog wheels. Can someone help me out,thanks for your time. | |

| Adolf Hit 25.05.2009 | Can you re-flash your VCI and post the text from the update utility, even though it appears to have completed succesfully it may provide a clue as to your problem. |
