Add arcade buttons to a VCI-100
Posted on: 03.06.2009 by Klara Neiffer
Hi all !
I would like to add arcade buttons to my VCI-100 but I don't find any electrical scheme on the site.
Why does we need " 8 Diodes 50 PRV 200ma switching diodes " ? Where input them ?
Maybe a thread have been ever made but I don't find anything...

Thx for your answers !

Nope no time frame has been released yet - there is a electrical diagram somewhere but i had troubles finding it with the search function. Its there somewhere though, if anyone finds it ill move it to a more findable spot.

Thx for your answer BentoSan, but I believe that a little electrical scheme is better than a video ^^ for people wich have some electronical notions
I will make it anyway ^^

Hi there,

We are creating arcade button kits that will come with a video describing the process. I would highly highly suggest buying the kit and watching the video if you are unsure about the process that needs to happen.

The diodoes are to make sure that electricity doesnt flow backwards in the circuit which makes sure your unit acts as expected and that you dont fry any components.

Here is the original video that Ean created over a year ago now on the first arcade button mod - that will help you out. Like i say though your best bet would be to buy a pack from DJTT which will tell you everything you need to know and help the process run as smoothly as possible.
