Traktor LE and Firmware Upgrade
Posted on: 02.08.2009 by Lisette Eckenrode
Hi Forum,

i recieved the Firmware Upgrade Kit via Mail and have a little question.

I use Traktor LE wich was provided with the VCI and want to upgrade the firmware to version 1.2 (1.3). The reason why i upgrade is, that the jog-wheels are going crazy, when i'm in a club with very strong bass vibrations.

Is the tks-file still the same which was installed with Traktor LE when the firmware upgrade is finished an i boot the VCI in firmware-mode 1.2, or do i have to get a new one ? And where ?

Greetings from Germany
and thank you very much for the support

Thank you very much for your information.
The Firmwareupdate was sucessfull und i can boot in 1.2 with the old tks-file and use Traktor LE.

About the jog-wheel problem i believe i must use an underlay of rubber foam.
For all guys in germany i found this http://www.musicstore.de/de_DE/EUR/V...DJE0003129-000.

Thank you very for your support. See you soon for my next questions.

firmware won't help with the jog wheel bass problem.
if you upgrade to 1.3 i'm pretty sure you can boot in 1.2 mode and the tks file will be fine as the 1.2 firmware (within 1.3) should remain unchanged.

wait for confirmation as I personally only use 1.2 but it should be fine.
