LED's are copping out
LED's are copping out Posted on: 04.09.2009 by Ralph Finuf So certain LED's under my buttons have failed to work, particularly the Copy To DECK D which usually lights up blue doesnt work, so I have no idea when the right side is controlling deck D or deck B. Most of the other LED's (FX, Beat Juggle, EQ FX) have stopped working as well.Any suggestions how to fix? | |

Ralph Finuf 07.09.2009 | Fixed it. Turns out the only issue was my MIDI out settings in Traktor were disabled. Don't know why that fixed it but it did, thanks for the help guys. |
Vernon Positano 06.09.2009 | I've had one cue light on my VCI burn out already, and the unit is less than 6 months old. Yes LEDs have thousands of hours life expectancy, but so many are made, you will still get faulty ones. |
Ralph Finuf 06.09.2009 | Yea its definitely the hardware. C button will light up and then control all the functions of deck C, but D button does not light up, but WILL control the functions of deck D. Its a little hard then to know when I am controlling B or D. Also the beat juggle button doesnt light up blue when pressed or when the knob is turned up all the way. Alot of the buttons on the mixer section like EQ FX, headphone cue, or other effects buttons don't light up, but do peform their functions when pressed. Ean Ill be sure to shoot you an email soon. |
06.09.2009 | If you purchased a SE controller from us- shoot me an email to ean@djranking
s.com, you definitely need to confirm that its hardware first. Does one deck C button light and the other not? |
Xavier Emanuels 05.09.2009 | I would do some test mappings to see if its a mapping problem or a physical hardware problem |
