Firmware 1.3 problem
Posted on: 19.09.2009 by Barry Greenup
Hey,

I just upgraded my vci with the arcade mod and 1.3 firmware. At first traktor didn't recognize the vci but I fixed that. My snap button stays on constantly and when I push both scratch buttons at once the jogs turn off. I am using the new tsi in TSP 1.1.

I am also running an up to date version of Leopard.

Thanks in advanced!

Thats totally normal behavior for the wheels to turn off while pressing both buttons. This is how you can disable the jog wheels if there are vibration problems.

im using tsp (1.1) and both my jog wheels turn off as well, i thought thats what they were supposed to do ? and come to believe of it, sometimes traktor does not recognise my vestax vci ??? its been ok lately (fingers crossed) but it can happen at any time when i first turn them on (very strange) im using a nice and simple tsi that "dj moonie" done

I was using the wrong tsi file and now that I have updated that seems to have fixed most of the problem. My jog wheels still turn off when I press both scratch buttons at once.
