New Mapping... v5 for 2.1 - suggestion Posted on: 27.11.2009 by Cathie Sochacki Well done on the new mapping v5 for Traktor Pro 1.2 - fixed a few little things that annoyed me, much better now. Not sure if this is supposed to happen but when I imported it, all my playlist shortcuts got overwritten with weird ones ??The one thing I still do not like however, is the use of the 4 buttons at the bottomo of the VCI. Currently it is: Sync - Drop - Pause - Play Sync & Drop are fine, they do exactly as they should. However: Pause: This is not actually 'Pause' - it's "Cue" - because instead of stopping the track exactly where it is, instead it jumps back to the last cue point - just like "Cue" would do on a CDJ etc. Play: This should be play/pause like it is on cdj's and most other controllers etc. Personally I don't understand why it is the way it is - makes little sense to me for ordinary mixing, maybe it suits turntablists/controllerists - but my guess is that for most people the normal way would suit better. I had a go at trying to change this myself but honestly its way over my head. Is there anyone out there who has done this (or can do it) and would be kind enough to share the tsi with me? Thanks a mil! Colly | |
