I have the VCI 100SE with snap beat, quantize and sample in the top left cnr. Whats the latest version of traktor this works with 100% or does it work right up to the new 1.2.6 or do i need the latest mapping and overlay

Did you have to heavily modify it to get it to work with 1.2.6 or was that just your own personal choice

I now use the 3_5 mapping, which is fantastic, and I have the overlay but I don't use it because I like the old overlay better. Of course that means the words under the buttons don't match up to their functionality but a little practice and you don't read those words anyway. The overlay is just a convenience; I may probably install mine eventually since I paid for it but I really prefer the texture of the old overlay (and after reading about how many problems people had changing overlays I didn't want to mess with it).
cheers man, was it 1.2.4 that the major change in layout came about?

Its not Traktor, that is the 2_X DJTT mapping. If you use the new mapping (now at 3_5_1) you will need the new overlay. Check the store for the latest overlay to put on your VCI.

Phil.
