Haha yea, traktor should fix that ASAP. As well as allowing assignments for midi... but anyway, anything worth doing is worth doing right. And why not learn how to do it in the process? Play around with your file settings, worst case scenario is that you end up in the same boat you are in now. Just reload the original and bam. Same boat.

what version tsi are you using? I'll try to make a custom step by step within a few days. Generally Just read the comments and assignment section, and you can easily figure out what the DJTT team have done with the setup.

You don't really open the file, but edit the parts you want to change in the controller manager in preferences. Sort by comment or parameter, find the ones you want to change and make some changes until you like the way it sounds. If you've made any changes to your current setup make sure you export it so that you'll have a backup.

do you mean the fader effects or just the normal presets? I, for instance, changed the slicer button from dry/wet 100 to 40 to make for more of an "echo" effect, erased the pause/play and cue buttons and doubled up with 2 more slicer/delay effects.

Basically, arrange the .tsi file by "assignment".

Find the effect preset you want to change by looking at the individual dry/wet condition (keep in mind that it is mapped separately to 2 decks sometimes) and changing them accordingly. You will see a decimal, like 1.0 or .5 for the chosen "preset" parameter of an effect. You can change what effect you would like to select or the amount of which each attributed parameter it comes with is set to.
