Problems with CPU i7 - VCI 100 - Traktor Pro
Problems with CPU i7 - VCI 100 - Traktor Pro Posted on: 25.07.2010 by Aurore Deeson Hi, I need help. I got my new laptop Sony F12, where I got i7 CPU, 8 GB Ram and newest chipset PM 55 - 1333Mhz FSB. Everything goes fine except Traktor reacts on VCI sometimes late on commands-especially faders and sometimes doesnt at all - like platters. Please help, I do not really understand what is problem. With old laptop it was fine, even with my netbook. Cheers and thanx | |

I have pro, but I guess this might be it. I am experiencing lot of crash reports when I am closing program. Vestax waits for NI support. |

Aurore Deeson 07.09.2010 | Hi, I found some updates on Vestax website. Its slightly contradictory. However VCI 100 was confirmed to be fully working with i series CPUs but in the same time of course Vestax claims no responsibility. Thats first link. Socond link writes about chipsets and problem with chipsets where Intel might issue some updates, but they do not know when. Its cause of Full-Speed isochronous-out transactions with multi-frame packets may be truncated, in the presence of Full or Low-Speed USB asynchronous transactions. http://help.vestax.co.jp/en/detail.p...d_page_url=237 http://help.vestax.co.jp/en/detail.p...d_page_url=234 I hope updates from Intel comes soon and pain is over for all with this issues. Cheers. |
Aurore Deeson 04.08.2010 | My VCI, even is great and in great shape is in offer for sell. Anybody interested just contact me. Cheers |
Penni Rigor 30.07.2010 | try a different usb port. Different devices on your comp are internally wired to certain usb ports and may not be able to handle all the signals. just a thought. Also, I believe the issue lies within the i series (3,5,7) chip and how they allocate power. plus you should get a external soundcard like stated above. Good luck. |
Charleen Duesenberg 30.07.2010 | Yep! but Actually I use core i7 (for a year) too ... But I use 1 PC (core2duo system) to connect all of My Midi Controller except some kind of automap hardware or the X1 that I need to connected direct to system and I send it via wifi/lan net work to 3 OS (1vista,1osx,1windows7) ..... I use some unused hub or unused wifi router modem(Wifi is rock coz' No alot of cable anymore) to make a network for send & recieve midi message..... then U don'tneed to switch (limited & care in USB Performance) beetween each Computer ...it's CAll Midi OverIP best solution Sync midi clock with zero latency(very closed) |

Tyrone Baghdadi 26.07.2010 | "Traktor reacts on VCI sometimes late on commands" Dude, this is called latency. You need a soundcard with ASIO drivers.. The build-in soundcards are always shit. |
