Breadboarding my own firmware kit
Posted on: 22.09.2010 by Hertha Fang
I am very interested in making my own firmware kit, since I am a student in computer engr. and also because I would like to do the fw 1.4 upgrade asap, (also too because 25 is a lot of money for a poor student and I have ready access too lots of circuitry and free supplies). I am having trouble finding the model and p/n of the level converter being used, do you guys have a schematic/wiring diagram available?

Hey Mp,

Any 232 transeiver will work, Maxim or Sipex 202 or 232 etc.
PM me if you have any more questions

this community seems to have the info one needs
http://www.nativeinstruments.de/foru...t=65989&page=4

though it isn't concise and is a refining of the method, as I do this I will try to make a little tutorial that is concise (hopefully with pics if the cam is working)
