Anyone in Sydney willing to help flash my VCI-100? Posted on: 07.10.2010 by Laronda Hemmen Hi all!I'm relatively new to this place, so here's saying hello Got my DJTT VCI off a guy in Brisbane, was loving it to bits... till I tried to flash to 1.4 Got a load of errors (mostly the infamous boot failure and an occasional "micro kernel load failure"). I gave up and put the thing back together, and now when I plug it in, the only things that light up are the two jog wheels - bright red. I guess that means it's dead in some way As such, are there any DJTT members here who live in Sydney and would be gracious enough to help me flash my baby back to life? Any help would be greatly appreciated! | |

Laronda Hemmen 20.12.2010 | Yeah, I got the kit from the previous guy who sold his VCI to me I'd be more than willing to help you if only you were in Syd! Your best bet, next to finding someone who could help you in your area, is to order the upgrade kit from the site - I ordered a set of knobs with the cheapest postage option and they arrived within 2 weeks, which is more than reasonable in my opinion |
Louisa Collura 19.12.2010 | hi, I see this is an thread from august, but I just got a VCI second hand, I am in brisbane and would like to upgrade it...how you did it? you got the kit? cheers |
Laronda Hemmen 10.10.2010 | Hey all The issue has been resolved - I successfully flashed it using a serial to serial cable and a mate's computer! I'll post my experiences in the other threads so that others facing the same problems may find it of help. Thanks, and keep up the great work DJTT |
