How Many Midi-Fighters do you need!!!?? Posted on: 15.04.2011 by Sadie Steager Hi Guys,I'm like a kid waiting for Santa to bring my toys. I've ordered the S4 and it cleared customs so I should have it this coming week. I'm now looking at getting 2 midi-fighters. I looked at the midi-fighter and would like to have one on each side to use with deck A and B then to double up on the loops at the bottom. Can that work?? In other words: Midi-Fighter 1 = Effects Deck A 1 and Deck C 3 Midi-Fighter 2 = Effects Deck B 2 and Deck C 4 Will I also be able to still activate the normal Effects on the S4 on any given deck? Thank you | |

| Gilma Marchini 24.04.2011 | I have 3... 1 for each deck, and a third for deck C, which I use for doing mashups and songs used in transitions. I use the three with my Ecler Nuo 3.0 and an Xone 2D as a soundcard and for browsing, loop, filter, and pitch controls. Depends on the setup really. With an S4 I would just use one with the InstantGrad mapping, anything more alongside a S4 seems like overkill in my book. |

Midi Fighter 1 to deck A - Midi Fighter 2 to deck B. S4 To sample deck C & D. I would like to make people crazy!. I must say, Ean is a master. If I had the Cash. I would skip the hardware and rather have him here for 2 weeks. But I'll have to do this one on my own. S4 And 2 MidiFighters. Thanks eveyone. Bee cool. I'm starting in 2 weeks - Hope to have it all here by then. Which shipping method is the quickest when you order online via the site. Cheers |

| Tiara Bastarache 22.04.2011 | You should only really need one midi fighter. You can make a 4 deck mapping yourself. I'm currently working on one with the Four banks mode. Unless you really don't want to bother having to hit an extra button or two. |

Assuming you have a typo in there and want 1 midifighter for deck A + B and 1 midi fighter for deck C + D you would have 8 buttons per deck to configure any way you can possible dream of. And your regular midi controller ( S4 MAN I'M JEALOUS ) will work as if the midi fighters are not there. In other words, it does'nt matter for the S4 if your using other gear alongside it. ( as far as i know ) My apologies for any typo's in my little comment, i'm dutch and i'm sticking with that as an excuse Good luck with your gear man, an S4 and 2 Midi Fighters........ I believe i'll start bribing Santa for that set right now so i'll get it for Xmass! |
