MIDI Fighter mapping ideas

Hey everybody, I am looking into learning how to map in Traktor. But while that is underway I thought it would be great to hear what you guys would like to see in a MIDI Fighter mapping. I will start out with some ideas I have had! I will explain via what each button section would do. This mapping would be a mash up of cue points, FX and a launch pad for Traktor sample decks. The first 4 buttons would be as follows button 1, cue points for deck A/B you would select deck B by tapping button one a second time. Button has a solid light when in deck A and a flashing light when in deck B. This section would include cue points stop/play/shift <--- possibly using shift on a S4 instead. Button 2 would be a launch pad for sample decks also tweaking them with a shift function. Buttons 3 and 4 would be focused FX as I would call them where you have many buttons to control 1 or 2 FX. That is my little blurb on something I would like to see, Sincerely Mr. Savage.

Excellent! I've started looking into it myself. An option that I've considered might work is to change all the Midifiers. As they are currently identical as each other (classic and pro) they mimic each others behaviour, so by altering all the modifiers I'm believeing they should behave independently? Sounds good to you?

I definitely will! Dont expect much though I am quite inexperienced with mapping in Traktor.

Hi DJ Savage,

I have a little project for you to work on if your interested.

I'm currently using a Numark Mixdeck, a MF Classic, and a MF Beatmasher pro and what I'm looking for is a custom mapping for my classic which includes the instant grat and deckalized mappings but with a slight difference from the DJTT's one.

When using the supplied AB focus mappings the two midi fighters control the same deck, what I'm looking for is to have the two controllers swap decks when focus is shifted. I dont particularly want to fix each controller to one deck as that would be limiting.

Is this something you can help me with? I'm looking into it myself by attempting to adapt the original mapping but believe two heads on it will be better than one!

Just a after thought, I would love to be able to control the "pan" of a deck.
