On the plus side for ya;

I tried a single MF on instant grat for a week and as nice as it is the appeal wears off a little bit. However................ a pair of them deckalised is really sweet as it lets you shape the mix via the underlying track - doubled up they make a lot of sense.

So you need to buy two to get the most out of them. Bet ya feel better now

DOPE MF painting.

can we get a better pic of those Dre Beats? Are they special edition or custom? if custom can you explain/show application techniques.

thanks

Don't believe i've posted my MidiFighter here. Made to look in the style of a SNES controller (geddit Street Fighter/Midi Fighter). The button layout does have purpose, not just to look pretty.

# 1. This is a used one I bought via the community and I've changed the buttons out for my own colours. I've got another new one with this button layout enroute from DDTT as I'm using them deckalised.

The button colours are inspired from the colours I used on various bikes I raced over the years until I retired in 2011. Shallow I know, but hell, as well having it the way I like.

I'm currently replacing the pcb on my classic (after a mysterious chip melting session) and my pro has just hit customs, but felt that I had to contribute. Cant wait to get mashing with both these bad boys!

You can find them in the DTT Store, they're
SANWA OBSF-24 ARCADE BUTTONs .. as used in the MF and VCI Mod, you might be able to use the other types if you can fit them into the MF's PCB,

I have Modded a VCI 100 with the sanwa's and i can't see past them they come in a range of colours and although i have haven't tried i'm sure you can mix the buttons and button casings around....

I was going for a pattern vibe opposed to a button config that matched any of the mappings..... i could however rearrange them, adding say a blue and a green to the top row to give a play/pause decalised setup or it would allow for a more visual " bank " select spread!.... might by two off EvilBay!......

Any links for tweaking the FX settings on the IG mapping? the bottom right button gives a very muddy FX noise that i don't really dig....

Since I'm a graphic designer, I went with Print (CMYK) and Display (RGB) colors for the bottom two rows of my Midi Fighter.
