Ok, Im finally on vacation so I have time to mess around with my laptop.

Here is my tks I have been using. Its a hybrid of Ean's .tks & mine. I've been working on the brake stop ever since the hercules dj mk1 came out. Im still tweaking things but I included a pix to give you an idea of what can be done.

Thanks and please share your thoughts!

I also PM this info but I couldnt attach the pix s you could get an idea.

alright, i just installed tpro on my mac mini. you have to set your fx's to advance. then load turntable fx, the d/w set it to 100%, AMNT to 100% R.SPD left it alone, and finally B.SPD set to 75%. Now you need to make the 1st fx button on the midi setup to Button #4 on the vci.

I've searched the community and couldn't find an easy answer. How can I produce/map the brake function, similar in Technics, in TPro? I would like to use it for button 4(set cue) on both decks. I believe the above is for 3.3/4? Thanks.

I have done it. Thanks so much for the advice. But now i read that you can have separate pages (Am i right in believeing these are totally separate function layouts under the same TKS, triggered by a button?). I see on a video by Ean that he triggers this kind of thing using a foot switch.

goto the midi setup add another x-fader then hit midi learn and press the brake stop, traktor will tell you that the midi cc is already assign to another function and scroll up to see which one turned red, that one is the brake stop. Just write down the info, toggle, pitch, and so one. Goodluck and hopefully I didnt get you lost.

**** dont forget to delete the x-fader you created ****

Hi Jesc

Thanks for the welcome

Where do i look? Is it in Traktor or the file itself

Hey Mike Welcom To DJ TT. you would have to see what the brake stop is mapped to and look at the see what it does then copy (write down) all the functions ie: pitch down, toggle, inverted...and so on. Then add it to your tks file. Goodluck

Hello Gents

I am brand new to this; but after reading this post and trying this tks, i really like some of the features e.g the brake feature instead of play. And the idea (from Ian Goldens Video) that I could have all of the transport buttons accessing cue points after engaging a certain button/mode.

But, so as not to be too new and too greedy. How do i put this break feature into my standard tks for Traktor 3.4?

Thanks in advance

Michael

IDD, and otherwise, I'll just scratch some other functions.

But cool that you also put a picture of the mapping up!

Im sure you have an extra button or two in ur BCR to map the brake stop.

Looks awesome JesC.

Might be dropping that in my mapping too.
