Akai MPD32 & Traktor Scratch Pro - Midi Mapping
Akai MPD32 & Traktor Scratch Pro - Midi Mapping Posted on: 29.03.2009 by Amanda Dundore Hello.I also have a MPD32 unit for which I have updated the firmware to version 1.3. I'm running Windows XP and my PC recongnizes the MPD32 as 'USB Audio Device' which is normal from what I gathered on the web. Also, when I run 'Vyzex MPD32', it recognizes the pads and dials that I press. Now, my problem is this : In Traktor Scratch Pro, under the 'Midi Setup' tab, I see many Ports, including my MPD32's (I believe) called : USB Audio Device (Emulated) USB Audio Device (2) (Emulated) USB Audio Device (3) (Emulated) I have tried Midi mapping with each one and also with all three highlighted. Nothing works! For example, I have clicked on 'Add' - 'Load' - 'Load Selected' Channel is 'Focus' Type is 'Trigger' Then, when I click on 'Learn' and I press the Akai MPD32 pads, nothing happens. Please tell my what I'm doing wrong. This has to be software related because like I said, Vyzex recognizes every key that I press. Does the Akai have to be set to a certain status/menu ? Please help. Thanks. PS : And also, if anyone has a .TSI file for Traktor Scratch Pro, would you please send it to me. I would greatly appreciate it! | |
