Perfect beatmatching with a VCI 100 + 4 decks (Traktor Pro) Posted on: 06.05.2009 by Maricruz Rajo Well perfect beat matching, yesbut control over 4 decks kinda sorta not really had to get your attention somehow.. ANyway This has probably been done before, but for those who might like to know... i have modified TSI 1.6 (the one with the loops on the little black buttons) and did the following - When 'scratch' is off, the metal part of the jog is for tempo up/down, and is much much much more accurate than the pitch faders, and endless (its is basically a rotary) AND can do cool vinyl effects like slowing the track down to zero BPM. - So now the pitch faders were free i have assigned them as volume sliders for decks C & D. Tempo bend is still by using the plastic outer part of the job Although you still have to pucsh the shift button to activate the EQ's and transport buttons for decks C & D, it has made using 4 decks alot easier for me, and maybe some of you might find it handy too! | |
