TP - changing from advanced to chained
Posted on: 13.12.2009 by Kecia Wnukowski
Hello guys, I'm quite new to Traktor so this is a newb question.
I'm using 4 decks and one effect unit per deck (A-FX unit 1; B-FX unit 2; C-FXunit 3; D-FXunit 4).
For a given deck my controller is set up to have knobs that control chained effects for this deck and some buttons that trigger (for the same effect unit) different direct advanced effect.
All is well but for one thing that I'm probably missing. When I'm changing from the chained effects (knobs controls) to advanced effects mode (buttons controls) I'm not necessary triggering with a button the FX I would like but in fact the last 'advanced' one used.
As a note all knobs and buttons are set to specific orders like (change to given fx mode, fx choice(s), values, etc, etc...).

One workaround I could use could be to use Fx unit 1 as 'chained' and Fx unit 3 as 'advanced' for decks A&C, Fx unit 2 as 'chained' and Fx unit 4 as 'advanced) for decks B&D.
But I like the idea of one Fx unit assigned to one deck so if someone as a clue for my mentioned issue that would be cool.
Thanks in advance.
