MacBook Pro + Ohm64 = USB shutdown due to overcurrent Posted on: 10.02.2010 by Manie Novielli Hi there, yesterday it was the second time the USB host was shut down due to a error message that was telling me that the connected device was drawing to much current. It's a MacBook Pro 2.2 and i had the Ohm64 connected to the right side. I read out the required current for that device and it said 464mA. I read also at the NI page that someone which is using the Audio8DJ had the same problem and he read 483mA. Does someone have a solution for this or good advice ?? My thoughts tend to the solution of buying a powered USB hub. Greetz | |
